Nick Payne - Camping Manager25 Years Experience
I was first introduced to Outdoor Education during my time at The Army Adventure Training School where I cofounded adventure therapy programs for children with intensive behavioural needs. I also worked as program coordinator in intensive need Youth Work, developing programs for children in out of home care. I've run expedition programs for schools, white water kayaking and raft guiding then joined YMCA in 2004 as the Expedition Coordinator and in 2010 became the Operations Manager. The key to my longevity in the industry has been continuing to live the adventure in my personal life. I have been part of white water expeditions with in Australia, Nepal and Tibet. I hope to continue to inspire others to push their personal boundaries and overcome adversity with perseverance and tenacity.
