Camp Yarramundi
Since 1937, Camp Yarramundi has been a cornerstone of outdoor education and adventure for thousands of young people, schools, and community groups. This redevelopment will honour that legacy while creating a modern, inclusive, and sustainable environment that enhances learning, connection, and wellbeing through nature.
The Camp Yarramundi Project will deliver a world class outdoor education and accommodation venue for all. This includes contemporary accommodation designed around guest needs, purpose built indoor and outdoor education spaces designed to enhance interaction and teamwork, and adventure activities and dining facilities easily accommodating larger groups. Our enhanced programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of todays educators and organisations, while being a place of community at heart, welcoming and catering for all.
Outdoor immersion is guaranteed when weaving amongst the natural bushland to activity areas, snacking in native landscaped nodes, listening to the sounds of birds from the outdoor amphitheatre or stargazing around the campfire.
The newly designed camp has come together with special thanks to the hard work from Invoke Property, Cox Architecture, Local Dhurag Elders, Narla Environmental, Australian Ropes Course Builders, Urban Arbor, Catchment Simulation Solutions, Apex Archaeology, Blackash Bushfire Consulting, McLaren Traffic Engineering & Road Safety Consultants, Harris Environmental Consulting, ADP Consulting, Colliers Engineering and Design, and Hawkesbury City Council, among many others past and future. Funding for the project is provided by the NSW Government and The Y NSW.
